" Sarah, I noticed that you might be the librarian? " She dismissed Lynettes gesture with a smile and watched her go off to talk to the guard. " I am very much into literature and was wondering if you could suggest anything for me in the library, I've already read a large majority of the books on the shelves. Do you have anything thing...say...more 'interesting' to read in the back maybe? "
She paused batting her eyelashes with a childish pleading look on her face. " I would be very much appreciative, and since there is no guard in the wing of the library anyway, I could stay there for a while. "

Skye looked at the young guard and smiled at her excitment to see the library of all places. With maybe a little much sarcasm, she repyled "Well no, we don't have a guard as of yet. I suppose the powers that be aren't too alarmed by the prospect of much excitment in the library. But I wouldn't tell you no, on the contrary, please come with me."
Skye again began to walk down the hall, watching the floor before her until she almost randomly stopped, but in reality had come to the entrance to the royal library. "And what type of literature are you intrested in exactly?"

Two Rangers stood outside the doors that lead from the library into the royal gardens. One of them opened the door did he peak his head into the room not seeing Sarah and the librian were in the room did he lift his hand to wave someone in from the shadows. Between the two guards came a girl that was dressed in silks and leather skirt into the room, her arms were loaded with books on forging ,and Alchemy. She tiptoed into the room moving towards the shelves were the books had belonged at, her blue eyes searched the room for a moment not seeing the two either through the shelves of books.
Loran leaned upwards did she slide one book back into place upon the shelf then another in the forging section, her foot steps carried her closer to the front of the library were the voices were heard coming from now. She quickly froze in her steps knowing that there was spots in this place that cricked when one stepped upon them. Loran sneaks along the shelves did she spy the new librarian and the girl whom had come with the new captain of the guard. Staying in the shadows did she watch the two closely having always been shadowed by the castle guards, and archers from the goings on of this world sense it had been her mothers wish none knew that another of the royal line was in the land especially one that was illegimate.
When the two looked in a different direction did she sneak acrossed the room to the history section, her hand collected books on the wars of Xexoria, and one on the mystical creatures that were found in the kingdom. Loran turned then dashed with quick steps towards the door did she quickly escape out enterance pass the two Rangers that were on duty that night. Heading back towards the barrocks were they had setup a room hidden from most and yet to be found.

Sarah's long legs strided quickly ahead of the librarian into the great place and she did inhale deeply the wonderful aroma of knowledge. Although Sarah and Serge were both practically geniuses, such being a mark of the Ravenshield house, but she had always learned more through books, and he was more hands-on. She turned around and was a little crouched, hovering lower than normal as if she might pounce with excitement on Skye at any moment. " Well, I love to read anything, but there is a series of books I have been particularly interested in getting my paws on. " At this she did remember that she had left her tiger outside in the garden for some time now, and since it wasn't allowed in the castle for extended periods of time, it would have to wait more. " The books written by the ten sages. The akvahrs. Supposedly there might be one or two of them here in Xexoria, I don't know if they would be here in the library, but maybe in the king's or someone's private stock and documents? "

Skye wondered at the young guards ambition, but none-the-less said "Well, I could show you some. There are only a few here." She paused, perhaps mostly for dramatic effect. "Are you aware of what these books can do?"
With out letting Sarah answer, she walked past her into the library, past shelf after shelf of books. Calling over her shoulder she said, "While in the library, Sarah, please pay attention. The books will be there when we come back to this room. Now: while in the library, this one in particular, you'll need to pay attention to where your'e going. I remember a few times I've gotten lost, and found my self in an entirely diffrent part of the castle." She frowned for a minute. "Not that it helps that these shelves are so high." This she said with a smile, and she quickened her pace.
"At times, this place can feel like a maze, so its best to remember exactly where you want to be, and where you are." She paused walking , and looked left and right, seemingly puzzled. After a second, she remembered, and turned right. The two came up to a narrower hall, which after a second opened up to another room. "Its not restricted, but one would be silly to try to come back here, with out a map, or much practice." She walked up to the shelves, and began serching. After a moment, she handed Sarah a book. Akvahr Ex'Tigre, a book of emmence power.
"Knowledge can be a powerful thing, and can be understameted. Yes? Now, this book has some value to my family, Sarah. And with all knowledge, you must use it well. Which I am certin you already understand, but rehearing something never hurt anyone." Skye smiled, and paused, then said "Not to spoil the ending, but this powerful book is the one of Multiplication."

Sarah nearly screamed as she caressed the binding of the leatherbound book that had to be at least a dozen centuries old. She took the book with shaking hands and ran a hand over the cover and watched as it lit up, the jewel driven into it gleaming brightly. She opened the book as the magical lock on it had been released and began reading a few pieces of the beginning quickly in the Phoenician tongue as her eyes darted around the pages swiftly. " It's real...it's really here. You do realize what this means!? " She said nearly dancing with the librarian right then and there. As she read her own body began to glow as the most potent skill of the sage the book was written in honor of began to be unlocked within her, as she was more knowledgable than most in the tongues of old and rapidly deciphered it. As she reached the end of the first part of the book, the pages a lit and the book floated into the air, jewel gleaming brightly. Sarah lifted of the ground and held out her arms as she had casted the spell to permanently acquire the main knowledge from the book.
Instantly she split into two, then four and so forth until there were thirty-two of her sanding there cheering with glee in unison. It would take a while before she could control each of them individually. The more copies she made of herself, the harder that would be. And as long as she kept the duplications below about 5 her power would not be split between them, making this a variably useful technique. She would keep the finding from the rest of her family for now until she had more time to study it. The Voltaire Sage was truly a great....woman it had seemed and she had done great deeds throughout the land with and without the other 9 sages.
She cared for people greatly, and was greatly loved by many herself. She had married a poet and between her knowledge and his skill, they began the first library so long ago. Of course it was lost in the war, and beside a few books that were recovered, it is a long lost memorial. Sarah would not have time to decipher all of it right now, so she placed the book in her pack and attempted to control her newfound power without the assistance of the book's power. She concentrated and shook with a great amount of effort before reverting to four copies of herself. " Excellent. "

Skye's eyes as she watched the scene play out before her were huge. "Woah" she said, under her breath, before she started to say " Now, Sarah, remember to be careful of course. You know how things can seem under control, and then..." She made a vague hand gesture. Skye took a step closer, and put her hand on Sarah's shoulder, the one she imagined to be original. First darting her eyes, to be sure they wouldn't be heard, she wispered "If you use this incorrectly, it shall be on both our heads. So try, try not to be over zealous?" Skye took an quick step back, and turned to leave. "Say, Sarah? See me on your'e way out, ok?" she called over her shoulder as she turned out of view.

Sarah, now becoming more accustomed to her new ability, and having put the book away safely in her bag searched the shelf where she had pulled the Akvahr and smiled as she retrieved a few more of the books that seemed special from the same shelf. Now that she had found this section, she would come back here often and search for new finds. She split herself once more, this time one Sarah on top of another so that she reached the top of the shelf. She brought all her copies back into herself and stood utop the row and jumped from one to another to escape the maze quickly, this way she would not chance becoming lost. She had noticed that while she was atop the row, it looked as though the way they entered was a solid wall and that they had simply walked through it. Each time she duplicated herself she tossed the books she had grabbed back and forth like a game, absolutely teeming with excitement. She appeared in the main room with the tables and hopped off onto one of them, startling an off-duty guard and then took herself to the floor. She walked over to the counter and did not see Skye so she set her books upon her self and took out the Akvahr and began reading again, causing her body to emit a faint glow once more that was less noticable in the light of the main library. " It should be alright if I keep this from Syrus until I finish it. " She chirped to herself, smiling.

Skye emerged from the row of shelves to see Sarah ahead of her, already in the main room of the library. Perplexed, she walked foward to question her, but stopped. Seeing Sarah consumed in her reading, she thought it better to leave her be for now. Instead, Skye returned to her desk to retrieve the papers the king requested concerning the battle against Isabelle. Looking at the unorginized mess infront or her, Skye sighed. It would have been much more intresting to wander around the shelves, or perhaps pick Sarah's brain about the guard, but the task at hand was one that the king requested as soon as posible. While reorginizing, Skye realized some papers were missing, not the manuscripts for the king, but others she was bringing to the king in hopes of showing how poorly kept the manuscripts were, not to be scolded, but to show that they would need to be recopied, or repaired. She stood, and looked around the large room, wondering where she could have dropped them.
